How to get on the shortage occupation list

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with putting an occupation on the shortage list? My manager and our national governing body are behind this but are just looking for any experiences we can learn from.

i think this will be done by Migration Advisory Committee based on comprehensive review of all occupations and job titles, i think recently they have done this survey in 2015.
