Child Care Benefits

Hello

Me and my son are British Citizens (I have achieved via Tier 1,ILR and then British passport).
My wife is due ILR in Feb 2019.

If we meet other criterion can I (not against the wife name) claim Child care cost, essentially the below link:

Would there be any negative impact on her ILR or any future visa extension?
