How long it takes to receive COA

Post by Network » Tue Jan 23, 2018 7:35 pm

Good afternoon,I’m Non-EEA married to Spanish lady, before marriage i gave a notice to register office and they referred Home Office after 24 days I received a letter from Home Office they said they will investigate our marriage and gave us a 70 days notice, after 70 days Home Office send us a letter said that the investigation is done and we can carry on marriage,we booked an appointment at register office then we get married, after 2 days Home Office comes to our house I was sleeping and my wife at work,my flat mate opened the door for them;they told him that they coming to investigate our marriage I opened my door they asked me if they can come in I said yes, they was 6 inside my room, they started asking me questions like where you met,how ....when...ect,then I told them that we are married they asked when and they was chocked and unhappy to find me at home,I showed them marriage certificate, then they asked me about my passport then my wife’s passport I gave both to them, they started checking my wife’s passport then they told me that my wife’s passport is fake and I’m under arrest, then they started searching our room they made a mess and they left a notice to the landlord that he rent to me and I haven’t right to rent and they will charge him a penalty it was horrible and hard time for me,then they took me to Home Office centre, after one hour they back to me with a reporting and removal letter and my wife’s passport as they found out isn’t fake and they told me to back after two days for reporting and then every week,I went to a solicitor who asked for 1800£ to process my case,I haven’t choices I accepted as I was afraid of removal,he wrote a preaction letter to the Home office blaming them for what they did to me....,and he made EEA application for residence card, one day after I went to reporting centre they gave me another reporting letter with a Callander every month, recently my solicitor received a response from them for preaction letter they said that all what happened they followed a law and I wasn’t have a wright to resid when they come to our house as I didn’t apply for any application to stay or to extend my expired visa, and they stopped removal action as I have an pending application but still must go to reporting every month (I don’t understand why) sorry for writing a lot I tried to explain my situation, now I’m still waiting for my certificate of application it’s really took a long time, any help please as my solicitor doesn’t help at all imagine he received my biometric letter 22/12/17 he called me 2/01/2018 !!!!
