I am helping a former work colleague, due to my recent experience to fill the naturalisation application. Heo is a dual EU citizen who applies for naturalisation (for instance French and Bulgarian).
1. Does he have to mention both citizenships/nationalities in Section 1.9, or the one used for work and every-day interactions as well as PR (French) should be the only one in section 1.9?
2. Does he have to provide one form of id from each nationality? (EU id or passport)
3. How would HO be able to track absences if that person entered and exited the UK with different nationality travel documents? (for instance enter with national id and leave with different nationality passport, etc.)
4. In case of the Bulgarian nationality (different alphabet), if the latin transliteration of the name or surname is slightly different from the other nationality passport (French), would that be an issue in combination with question (3) to prove fulfilment of residency requirements? (different exit and entry name API's)
5. He used French nationality for NINo and work. However, as a Bulgarian he is also an accession state worker, but never needed a work permit (blue card) to work for that qualification period due to his other nationality. Would that be an issue, not providing a work permit?
Thanks in advance.
