Hi there,
I have lost my BRP and have filled out all necessary paperwork for the replacement BRP.
As for supporting documents, I have provided my original passport, letters from the home office (including original letter that came with my BRP), employer letters addressed to my home (contract, and letter from manager indicating proof of my address), and bank letters addressed to my home.
I am slightly worried as I cannot provide anything further relating to my proof of address.
I do not have a UK driver's license, and my housemate's name is used for all council tax letters, bills, and repayments. I moved into the house after he had been living here for sometime, and so my name is not on any of these supporting documents.
How important is it to provide proof of address?
When I applied for my original BRP, I did not provide proof of address - in fact, I had just moved to the UK and was living in a hostel.
Appreciate any assistance! Thanks.
