*Spouse Visa confusion*

Post by pab82 » Thu Jan 25, 2018 1:27 am

Hi All,

I am due to get married in October to my fiancé who is in west Africa. I would like him to join me shortly after. I am looking for the best route, I fully meet all the criteria for spouse visa to sponsor him however I am worried after the wedding we will not have £2500 for the application/fees etc. I was considering inviting him on a visit then when he returns we apply for the spouse visa giving us enough time to raise the money. but then I am worried that he may be declined as they may say he may not return. He is a full time minister with his own church..what would you advise? TIA

It's possible to apply for a marriage visitor visa.
