Dear Members.
My employer reviewed my salary as per annual salary review and advised they are happy to increase it by 8.5% from next month (from 38K to 41.2K). I did not have any salary increase in 2017.
Based on this:
1. I was reading that average UK salary increase is around 5% per year so I am a bit worried if increase by 8.5% might draw an attention from Home Office. Could you please advise if 8.5% is still ok and won't cause any issues?
2. Does my HR need to update SMS after my salary increase or it is not required as the salary was increased because of annual increment?
3. Is it ok that I did not have salary increase in 2017 but have it now?
Thanks!
