Change of Surname in New Passport

Hello,

I am facing an issue. My passport is going to expire in June 2018 so I have
renewed it. I have also changed my surname in new passport as it is
different then my all other documents & I faced the problems because it
previously.

I have been offered a job and got the CoS that is valid till 22nd February
2018 but that was issued on the basis of previous passport. Now there is
again surname name difference and 1 digit difference of passport number.
My employer is not happy that I changed the surname.

What are the chances of rejection of visa on basis these two passports with
different surname, but same address, National identity card number and 1
digit change of passport number. Any advice regarding this.
