Switching from Tier 1 Entrepreneur to Tier 2 General

Post by mk523 » Sat Jan 27, 2018 7:34 pm

Folks:

I am on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa from Nov 2017 along with a business partner (GBP 200k route). We have registered our company in Jan 2018 and we have been looking to generate business for our IT company so far. However, I am considering to move to Tier 2 general category and my partner will continue in Tier 1 visa only.

One of the Sponsor is ready to offer me a job. I have few questions on the same -

1. Does this switching require my employer to conduct Resident Labour Market test?
2. Am I going to face any difficulties while applying for switching especially when I have come to UK recently , my Tier 1 visa was applied along with the business partner and we haven't invested 200k in our business yet?
3. Considering my situation, how probable is that I will get the Tier 2 general visa? Please advise.
4. Do I have to undergo an Interview?

Will look forward to hearing from the experts here!!

Thanks.
