Tier 2 General (PBS) Dependent Extension- In country application

Post by monushh » Mon Jan 29, 2018 12:44 pm

Hello all,

I am currently in the UK on a Tier 2 PBS dependent visa accompanied by my wife (who is main Tier-2 general visa holder) and a 3-year old son(dependent on my wife).

Myself and my kid's current (PBS dependent) visas are expiring in March 2018, where as my wife had her Tier-2 general visa extended until August 2019 (through a new employer).

Presently, myself and my kid are planning to make applications to extend our visas and have the following questions:

1) Do any of us will require to provide Criminal Record certificates ( as Tier2 - general visa holder works in health sector)?

2) Our son's last entry clearance was made as a dependent on my wife. Therefore, do we have to make a separate application for our child this time, or can I include him as a dependent within my application (joint application)?

I will be very grateful to see your replies.

Thank you.

1) No. If you are extending as a PBS dependant partner in-country, then 319C(k) does not apply.

2)
