Ring the police in England!

Post by johnboy096 » Tue Mar 18, 2008 10:26 pm

Assalamu Alaikum,

Which part of England does she live in? And then ring the police in England or that area.

And tell them and they'll pay his family a visit if it's true.

But i hope you're not lying, as the police are wise to Pakistani scammers!!!

no im not lying. living in manchester they rubbish people do such things now im only worry about my sister i want her to get nationality she had 6 month baby girl born there . ya she will call police before 30/5/08 if they didnt return her documents
The police will ask why she waited so long, is she in danger?

At the end of the day it's her decision she should act in my opinion asap!!!

Maybe you should ring them for her, take the decision out of her hands?!!!

.

Theft is theft. It is a crime.

Theft of identity documents is at least a second crime.

Both are quite serious.

Failure to report these crimes IMMEDIATELY is a very unwise strategy.

She should have contacted the police and the BIA on the same day that she found out these things happened.

Now she will need to explain why she waited.

If she waited two or five days, she can explain that she tried to resolve the situation within the family.

If she waits longer, the police (& immigration) will want to investigate and understand why.

Report immediately. Do not wait another hour.

1) Report theft to Police and get a reference number

2) Go to your country's embassy and apply for a new passport

3) After receiving new passport apply at Home Office for a new visa to be placed in it.
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

Here's the steps she needs to follow:

1. she needs to contact the police and report the theft (without this she may not be able to get a replacement passport).
2. contact the embassy of the country that issued the passport and apply for a new one
3. contact home office for replacement visa
4. get a copy of the marriage certificate from the registery office. I don't know what they are called here but in Australia it is the Office of Births, Deaths and Marriages. I'm sure all countries have something similar.
