Bill of costs

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing great? Please I have a urgent question, during my JR application going to almost 2 years now the HO decided that I should withdraw and but my barrister requested for them to pay my costs wilhich they agreed to. However, ever since then, no payment as been made and when ever I ask my barrister or his assistants they don’t seem to be keen about it or they don’t like me to ask as they will keep saying it takes a while. However I contacted the department myself and was told no bill of costs has been received from my barrister which I notified them of since last year and they said they have done it and will check again. Again I messaged the department and they kept telling that no bill has been received by my barrister which I forwarded the email to them and I haven’t received anything as the person in charge asked me toward the bill if I have it so they can instruct the cost team to pay my fees. I want to ask if I can go and claim the bill myself as I think my barrister is up to something maybe she feels i will forget or leave the money for her as she kept said it will take a while and it’s going to 2 years now. My fiend is suggesting that I can get sued by my barrister if I go to claim it on my own. Your advice will be appreciated. Thank you. Between my BRP is here. Praise God
