Hi
I am seeking your humble advice for my wife. As she was recently issued with a TIER 2 PARTNER visa. I forwarded the visa copy to my lawyer and she mentioned:
i) The visa type is correctly recorded as a 'PBS Dependant'. However, it is a D category visa which is not a PBS visa but a generic "other" category.
ii)You should have received a visa vignette (sticker in your passport) with a 30-day validity, allowing you to enter the UK. However, this visa vignette is valid for the full period of the visa requested. We think that this is why you haven't received the accompanying letter.
"It is not clear why this has happened. We think that the VAC has simply made a mistake when entering the date in their system which generates the vignette."
The VISA TYPE she was issued is D- TIER 2 PARTNER

As the visa Expiry date is exactly like my BRP, instead of 30-day validaty. My wife's flight is tomorrow, so to amend it she went to VFS today but they are saying they do not know anything about it. I checked the UK government websites and it is mentioned that she needs to be in the UK.
Can you please provide us with some guidance, is it is ok for her to travel?
Thanks
Sajid
