visa4UK online application

Hi everyone,

I'd appreciate some pointers on completing the visa4UK online application form.

My wife will soon be returning to Australia from her time as a 'visitor' here in the UK to lodge a family visa application.

Q: "Permanent Address" - this is obviously referring to her address in Australia, and asks how long she's lived there. The issue here is that we no longer have any address in Australia, because we left to settle in the UK!

I'd like to know if anyone knows why they ask for this? This would help us decide whether [a] to put our last known address (this is what is on her drivers licence) or to put her parents' address (where she will be staying whilst in Australia).

Any advice is much appreciated!
