EEA registration certificate, should I apply?

Post by Sahnan97 » Fri Feb 09, 2018 1:25 am

Hi, first of all I’d like to apologise if I posted on the wrong section of the forum, I’m new!
My parents and I moved in the UK from Italy in 2015, my parents applied and got a registration certificate, but I didn’t apply for mine, I’m a university student, I checked on gov.uk and it’s stated that an eea citizen doesn’t need to have a registration certificate and that after brexit it will not be valid.
I’ve been living here since February 2015, so I should get temporary permit to stay until I complete my 5 years to apply for permanent residence, would a registration certificate be useful as a further evidence to show that I'm living in the uk ?
