Child Family Visa Application

Hello All,

I'm currently on Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa (ILR Holder) and my wife has just been granted a spouse settlement visa.

She was pregnant at the time of application and gave birth in January shortly before her visa was granted at the end January. We clearly indicated on her application form at the time of her application that she's expecting a baby.

I'm now in the process of sending the baby's visa application to UKVI, but not too sure which appendix to use for my daughter's visa application, is it Appendix 1 or 2?

I'd appreciate if you could please clarify this for me.

This appears to be an error because

Form to go with VAF4A (family visa) application for an adult dependant relative, a child of settled parents or a parent given leave before 9 July 2012.

Appendix 2 seems more appropriate.

YOU SHOULD COMPLETE THIS FORM IF YOU WISH TO COME TO THE UK AS:
• The spouse or civil partner of someone settled in the UK; or
• The child of a parent who is applying for entry clearance as a partner or the child who is applying to join their parent who is already in the UK and has been granted limited leave as partner granted under the Immigration Rules in force on 09 July 2012; or ...

It's a bit confusing but would go with your above suggestion. I'll complete appendix 2 as advised.
