ILR Application SET (M)

Post by catchy1993 » Sat Feb 10, 2018 3:13 pm

Hi,

I am applying for my ILR on the SET (M) form as the spouse of a British citizen on the 5 year settlement route.

My current salary does not meet the financial requirement however my spouse currently earns above £18,600 and has been doing so with the same employer for over 12 months.

Do I need to provide my bank statements and payslips as well as my spouses bank statements and payslips? Or is it sufficient to only provide my spouses statements/payslips?

Kind regards,

Either of you can meet the requirement and submit the required documents to prove evidence of meeting the financial requirements.

Filling in SET (M) forms

Post by catchy1993 » Sun Feb 11, 2018 1:57 pm

Hi,

I have a couple of questions on how to fill in the SET (M) form.

Section 5.4 provides a box to enter my Unique Electronic Reference Number from my English Language Certificate however the box provided on the form is too small to enter the whole reference. What is the best way to provide this?

Section 9.13 asks to list all the periods of absences from the UK but only has four lines in the table on the form. I have had five absences, what is the best way to provide the details of the extra absence?

Regards,

Squeeze it in as best you can.

Photocopy the page and submit two pages together.
