Asylum Case Letter from Home Office

Post by Vladyjhan » Wed Apr 26, 2017 9:58 pm

Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum and have a question related to my husbands asylum case which is outstanding for 5 years.
Today we have received a letter from HO asking to provide ID documents, 4 sized photographs, dependents photographs.
Has anyone received these type of letters and if there's something to worry about?
Thanks in adnvance for your answers.

Maybe they are now in a position of regularizing your stay in the UK either in the form of ILR or some sort of discretionary leave. This is just my opinion, wait for others to comment.

Hello everyone!
This is an update on my husbands case.
His asylum application was refused and challenged in First Tier where he won against HO on three points and is qualified for refugee, leave to remain under humanitarian protection as well as under EEA regulations. He now have to wait 14 days and see whether HO would want to challenge the decision and submit an appeal to Upper Trubunal.
If someone could answer please:

Judge made a decision based on three points. If HO will decide to make an appeal do they have to submit it on ALL three points, or it can be only one point they feel that can be challenged?
If they will appeal does it mean the court have to accept their appeal, or it may be rejected ?

Thank you

Hello everyone!

My husbands asylum application was refused and challenged in First Tier where he won against HO on three points and is qualified for refugee, leave to remain under humanitarian protection as well as under EEA regulations(family and personal life) He now have to wait 14 days and see whether HO would want to challenge the decision and submit an appeal to Upper Trubunal.
If someone could answer please:

Judge made a decision based on three points. If HO will decide to make an appeal do they have to submit it on ALL three points, or it can be only one point they feel that can be challenged?
If they will appeal does it mean the court have to accept their appeal, or it may be rejected ?
How likely HO will appeal?

Thank you
