FLR(M) Extension-Not lived together for some of visa duration

Post by TinkerTailor » Sun Feb 11, 2018 8:26 pm

Hi there,

May I plz ask experts advise.

I was granted my first FLR(M) back in summer of 2016.
At the start of 2017 I got a job offer that required me to relocate to different city . As that City is very expensive we both didn't move together. My wife decided to stay back and continue her job and started living with her parents, while I moved down here to check if I like this new city and job. We both kept visiting each other on an average once a month. Obviously calling and chatting every minute of a day.

From early 2018 my wife and I started living together again. Obviously I would keep all the living together proof from now onwards. My visa expires in Dec 2018. Now I am stuck with living together proofs for whole 2017. Could somebody plz shed some light what should I do about that gap period . How could I explain this situation to visa officer.? Do you see it as a clear rejection.? We do have proofs for 2016 duration and would have for whole 2018.

I look forward to your help.

Thanks very much in advance.
