p60 as proof of residence

Post by Mal111 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 3:30 pm

Guys
as you may have notice on INIS website that documents from revenue acceptable as proof of address such as below

•Documents from the Revenue Commissioners (tax authorities), eg P60, P21

As you may know statement of p21, tax credit certs, tax refunds and other correspondence is usually issued by revenue and can be posted by revenue to you and that is all good to use as proof of residence however p60 is usually issued by your employer to you so its not a proof of residence
p60 is a proof of employment history (which is also required by citizenship office)

there may be in some instance p60 can be issued by revenue of which I am not aware of and only in those circumstances you can use the p60 as proof of address as it will come with a letter from revenue stating what they have sent you and you also need to attach that document as a proof of residence.

if your sending p60 as a proof of residence make sure you confirm this with the citizenship office before via email and attach that email to your application.
thanks
