When should I report change of marital status to the police(OVRO)?

Only for the UK Skilled Worker visas, formerly known as Tier 2 visa route

When should I report change of marital status to the police(OVRO)?

I'm under Tier-2 General visa and have been in the UK for 2 years now. I've recently got married outside the UK and my wife hasn't applied for her visa yet. Should I report to the police now or I should wait until my wife's visa application is approved and she's in the UK?

OVRO website says within 8 days of the change, but it doesn't say the marital status in UKVI or my home country.
