Confused !

Post by Deepikan » Thu Feb 15, 2018 2:41 pm

Hi There!
I am a Canadian citizen who has an ILR in the UK
I still hold my Canadian Citizenship & passport
My son who is 7 months old has a Canadian right passport & citizenship of Canada
He was born in the UK
Do I need to get an ILR & BRP for him!?
I am travelling to Canada next month & will I require this in addition to the Canadian passport??
Many Thanks

No, I believe he is British by birth and as you hold ILR, you would just register him as normal.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.
