ICT TIER2 Dependant to ICT General Conversion

Hi All,

I have come to the UK on June 2017 as a ICT T2 Dependant. My Wife holds a vaild long term staff ICT T2 VISA.
I have recently got a job here and I'm looking to get my own sponsorship.

My Employer is telling they cannot sponsor my VISA as it is not permitted as per the VISA rules. But another employer can sponsor my general VISA. I'm a bit confused. Is there a way I can apply for a conversion from T2 dependant to T2 general being in the same company. ?

Can someone please clarify ?

You are permitted to change from a PBS dependent visa to a Tier 2 General Visa.
However, you will need a sponsor
Sponsor will need to do RLMT
Raise a Restricted COS

You will have to apply for Entry clearance from your Home country.
