Made Redundant - VISA Application Already Submitted

Hello all.

I've made redundant today as my company has gone into liquidation.

Fortunately, I have already found a new position and start immediately.

I've already submitted my application and supporting documents.

How do I communicate this across to VISA people? Is there a phone/email address?

Will this delay the application? I have paid for priority.

An update for anyone who is in a similar issue in the future.


I've called the premium helpline and explained the situation and mentioned I have found new employment immediately.

What the adviser did was 'raise an escalation' and told me someone will be in contact within 15 working days VIA email. I may then be requested to send further supporting information.

I asked if I should send a letter in the meantime and was told I can send a letter explaining change of circumstances however it may not be considered as I have already submitted supporting documents.


On a side note, I asked how long it would take for the priority VISA decision to be made and was told 30 days from the the Biometric appointment date.
