Evidence for claiming Past Earnings points

Hi all,

I am planning to apply under Tier 1 (General) in April. I have a question with regards to claiming points in the Past Earnings category.

As evidence, I plan to submit the last 12 months payslips given by my employer, and I will also corroborate that by providing the bank statements for the same period. But since the last 12 months falls from April '07 to March '08, I will not be able to give the Income Tax return for the period for which I would be claiming points. This is because the financial year in India runs from April to March. Would that be an issue to be concerned about? Is there anything that I need to do for that?
