what one to apply for EEA4 OR EEA(PR)

Post by jollymolly1 » Tue Feb 20, 2018 1:16 pm

Hi there i would like some advice on wether to apply for eea4/eea(pr) now or wait. I came to uk in 2009 on student visa which ran out in April 2010. I met my wife in 2009 who held british and irish citizen as she was born in northern ireland. we got married in june 2011 so the time between 2010 to 2011 i didnt had any visa. my wife renounced her british citizenship to keep me here. as according to uk eu law u dont need to apply for residence card if u r married to eu citizen and she is exercising her treaty rights. so when we got married i never applied for eea2 at that time as i was legal according to Uk EU law. but im 2015 feburary i got my EEA2 residence card as i wanted to look for a job. now the question is can i apply now as we married 6 years now and have 2 kids too or shall i wait till 2020 for my eea2 to expire and thn apply for eea4/eea(pr). thanks in advance for ur help
