Tier 1 General closing down

Post by Hassan Jaafar » Wed Feb 21, 2018 5:18 pm

Hello,

While Tier 1 route is closed, the main applicants on this visa can apply for ILR before 6th April 2018.
In my case i wanted to inquire about continuous period of 5 years.

I had obtained Tier 1 visa in May 2010, arrived Uk in Aug 2010 but then moved to middle east to work in Nov 2010.
In May 2012. i got 2 years extension on my Visa with foreign earnings but after getting extension, i had to go back to middle east for my work.

From May 2013 to-date I am residing in UK. I was issued 2nd extension in May 2015 and my visa expires in Jun 2018. Now as per law, i can apply 28 days in advance but fall short of meeting 5 years of continous stay. I wanted to ask if i can claim 90 days of absence from Feb-April 2013 under 180 days absence rule. During this time i was not in Uk but had Uk visa.

many thanks
Hasssan
