Can I do ECS check now with myself being Employer and Employee of my company?

Iam waiting since May 2017 for my Tier 1 entrepreneur extension application decision. I haven't applied Ecs check for myself till now.But my new business client wants to confirm my rights in UK before assigning me a new contract.I have my Full time employee in Admin Executive role and want to know whether he can initiate an Ecs check for me or can I as a salaried director do the check for me by myself now given the fact it's more than 6 months now from the time of applying my visa?Any inputs highly appreciated. Thanks.

Why you need to check you self ECS as you know your application is pending.

And the client has no right to ask you about status as you doing business But you can sign a contract one month notice period if you do not get Visa then you can give notice of terminate contract. I had the same problem when my application was pending And client wants to sign a Huge contract but I didn't get because Client said if I do not get visa who gonna look after contract agreement.

Unfortunately, You need to wait and ECS doesn't matter.

If your client cares about your immigration status, you are probably working in capacity of an employee for them which is NOT allowed

me too currently in the same situation,
I would like to know what happens after that and have you overcome the problem and sorted out the things.
