Satisfying English language requirements - Spouse Visa Extension

My partner shall be applying for an extension (June 2018) leave to remain on the 5 year Partner route after 30 months in the UK. She satisfied the English language requirement at the time of initial application (Oct 2015) by producing document from UK NARIC confirming her qualification was taught/ researched in English to CEFR level C1.

Does she need to take the test (level A2 or above) to qualify for her extension ?

In addition to english language proficiency, you will also need a NARIC letter to state qualification level of the degree to UK equivalent. You will need UK bachelors equivalent or above to satisfy the English language requirement.

Thanks for the reply PariJ

Documentation on home office website seem to suggest otherwise. I had some confusion around this hence the question.

Chapter 08: appendix FM family members (immigration directorate instructions)
Chapter 8 of the immigration directorate instructions which deals with family applications made after 9 July 2012.

Appendix FM section 1.21: English language requirement
4.4. Applicants who provided evidence of an acceptable academic qualification with a previous application
A partner or parent applying for leave to enter or remain who has an academic qualification which was accepted as part of a successful previous application as a partner or parent is not required to provide further evidence of that academic qualification.
