Tier 4 to Phd

Post by septem » Sat Feb 24, 2018 1:58 am

Hi All,
Thanks in advance.
I need your advice

First of all, I would like to introduce myself.

Actually I entered into UK on 08th August 2010. I done MBA(Travel,Tourism & Hospitality Management) in Kensington College of Business( University of Wales - 2010).

> Then I switch to PSW visa - 2012 (09-08-2012 to 09-08-2014)

> In June 2014 I switch it to Tier 2 (26-06-2014 to 21-04-2017). Tier 2 (Business Development Manager) work permit visa.

I can't able to extend my visa due to sponsor license revoked.

At the end, I switched to Tier4 Student visa . Currently doing Msc Management

> My visa is expiring on September 2018.

> Could you please let me know what is the option to extend after this visa?

> I need two more years to complete 10 years route.

Phd or DBA is possible? or Tier2 or Business Visa.

Please, I am waiting for your positive reply.

Thanks

How long did you have leave under Tier 4 (General) all together?

I don't really understand why you are thinking of extending under Tier 4. I think you would have problems with the credibility aspect of a Tier 4 application. A case worker would probably assume you want to switch to Tier 4 to spin out your time in the UK so you can apply for ILR, not because you are a genuine student. And it seems they would be correct!

Would it not be more logical and credible to do what any settled person would do when their job ends, and look for another job, so you can extend under Tier 2?
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.

Hi Vinny,
Sorry for late reply.
My 1st Tier4 Visa - 30/07/2010 to 30/04/12 (I entered UK 08/08/2010)
My 2nd Tier4 Visa - 28/04/2017 to 11/09/2018

Please give me your suggestions. I am waiting for your reply.
