SET(M) Absences from the UK

Post by catchy1993 » Sun Feb 25, 2018 8:38 am

Hi,

I have a quick question about meeting the 5 years continuous residence requirement for ILR as a spouse of a British Citizen.

I entered the UK on 21 Jan 2013 and will be applying for ILR on 09 Mar 2018. Between these dates we both went abroad on holiday 5 times totalliing 7 weeks of total absence.

Absences
2013 - 2 weeks
2016 - 3 weeks
2017 - 2 weeks

Am I ok to count the 7 weeks towards the 5 year requirement?

Thanks,

seasky
