Need some clarity on salary and start date

Hi,

My leave runs out on 15th Aug 18, and I am due for my annual salary increment 2nd Aug, the start date on the COS for extension will be 16th Aug18 onward, so if I am going to apply, say in July18 or June18, which salary has to be mentioned on the COS, pre increment salary or post increment salary?

Any thoughts please, I'd be grateful.

I don't think it matters? as long as it meets the salary requirement
