As for me i am still waiting invitations are sent out 4-5 weeks before ceremony they can't invite without ceremony date.

I applied in end of August 2017
acknowledgment and 2nd letter 1st week of September
Approval mid Feb

I sent whats required but didn't get acknowledgment, is that normal?

I have been watching here for many years never seen it.
I think you dont get acknowledgment .

When did you sent the letter.
I sent mine on friday they got it monday morning (I could only see from Anpost tracking number).

What you get next should be invitation i think.

By the way on what basis did you apply (what type of visa or residency type )
