Documents required for naturalization

Post by Gal_iulian » Wed Feb 28, 2018 1:42 pm

Hi

Me and my wife where been granted PR on the 07th February 2017. We applied under Eu citizens status.
My question is that now when I will send our naturalization applications, do I have to send all documents again for 6 years back or I just have to send our last 12 months proof of UK residency?

You need to send documents for the past five years. Note that the documentation required for naturalisation will be different from that for PR. Naturalisation has different set of requirements and hence you will likely need a different set of proofs.

Also note that you can only apply for naturalisation after one year of the date you acquired PR (according to the letter that came with your PR card).

The thread has been moved to the British citizenship forum as the question pertains to that forum, not the EEA-Route forum.
