Tier 1 entrepreneur

Post by Ali789 » Wed Feb 28, 2018 10:37 pm

Dear members,
I am on 1 entrepreneur via 50K route since Dec 2012. I applied for extension in Dec 2015 but due to a minor mistake was refused in January 2016, I then filed AR in Feb 2016 which was decided/refused in Mar 2016.
After the decision of AR within 28 days I applied with a fresh application which was approved.
I will be applying for ILR in next few weeks, my concern is the impact of the above overstaying period on my ILR, and do I have to mention any documents in my ILR application to HO for the overstaying period in extension time ? Or should I just submit the ILR related documents ?
Your comments will be highly appreciated.
Regards

Your overstay period will be ignored since the application after that was successful.
There is no need to provide any documents or explanations - the fact that you have qualified for ILR is good enough.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Thank you marcnath,
I assumed so as well from the Immigration rules but it’s always best to take a second opinion.
Cheers

I was refused extension, reapplied, and got ILR. Do you have employment since 2nd extension?

Your extension application was refused and then approved in a fresh application right ? You got ILR approved via Long residency ?
Yes I have created two full time jobs after extension for more than 12 months each now.

I was refused and reapplied (fresh application). I came to UK as T1E in first case so not LR. Just wanted to remind you of employment as you did not mention that so you are OK

That’s great, yes I have fulfilled the employment creation requirement. Sorry to take your time but I will be applying for ILR in next few weeks. Can you please share your general list of submitted documents here if possible ? It will help me a lot in gathering the documents.
Thank you

I will be applying for my ILR in about 10 days or so. I'll post the list of documents once I've got everything ready.
