Visa Process from Kochi - India

Post by paddy21 » Thu Mar 01, 2018 2:16 pm

Hi Gurus/Valued members,

I am hoping that someone who has applied from India can advise me.

I am in the process of applying for a spouse visa for my wife from Kochi via the Priority Visa Service . I have searched this forum for what the process is on the day. My question is, that on the day, does my wife have to take all the required documents to the VFS centre? Or is it just the case that she has to take the online application form , VAF4 form, Passport and IHS payment confirmation and I can post the rest of the documents from here in the UK to Sheffield? By rest of the documents i mean, Payslips, Employment Reference Letter, Banks statements, Naric letter, Accommodation details, Marriage certificate etc

Or do VFS staff need to have a look at he documents beforehand? please advice, your valued advice is always helpful.

Your wife takes:
- Appointment letter
- Printed application form (just in case they want to see its her application not to submit)
- Passport

After the bio metrics, you the sponsor from UK send all support documents directly to Sheffield - Application, Appendix 2, TB cert, Narc Letter etc

Thanks for your reply. Furthermore, I have one more question- is it also worthwhile submitting my wife's previous passports?

If the applicant has mentioned it on the application, then take it with them but VFS wont keep it anyway.

If you mean the sponsors then no need.
