Financial Requirement

Post by ColG2018 » Sun Mar 04, 2018 12:26 pm

Hello, I think I posted my last question in the wrong place, sorry about that.

My question relates to sources of finance to meet the financial requirement for my US husband to come and live in the U.K. (settle).

The facts:

We live together in the US right now. I work a little bit doing some freelance work but we don’t want to rely on that. We’d like to rely on:

1. My husband (the applicant’s) Veterans Association (VA) pension which is approx £17,500

2. My rental income (the sponsor) which is £5500

This takes us over the minimum of £18,600 but does this work for the following reasons?

1. My husband is the applicant, is it okay to include his pension? Or does the sponsor have to have one?
2. I’ll travel with my husband on receipt of the visa.

Which appendix do we complete on the basis that I am outside the US and will travel with the applicant, my husband?

Thank you!
