Naturalisation and out from the UK

Hi,

I am EU citizen and would like to apply to British Citizenship. I have never left UK for more than qualifying period over the last 5 years and was living and working in London for 11 yrs. I am eligible, although I will be leaving UK for a few months soon - would like to apply over the next few weeks then.... would my application be ok if I am no longer in UK but eligible at the time of application? Thank you
