Hello,

I am in the process of applying for my daughter's family settlement (child) visa but currently unable to make the IHS fees payment online.

Please see below message i received when I attempted to make the payment online:

''Exempt based on lead applicant being 18 or under and applying under visa Route: Settlement-Child or dependant of settled''. Total: 0.00 (USD)

However, I was issued with IHS Reference number which enabled me to submit the application online.

I'm not sure what I need to do correct this error from UKVI as I do not believe my 3 month old daughter is exempted from paying IHS fees.

I look forward to your opinion on this please.

UKVI system does not allow to go through any payment for CHild IHS and consider them Exempt. However, as you are in receipt of IHS number issued so you are fine. Home Office shall contact you and request you for payment at some stage in processing.
I launched application in mid of November 2017 for child and still waiting for IHS payment as application is still under process.

In that case i'll have to wait for UKVI to contact me for IHS payment.
