Will driving offence affect husbands ILR

Post by Raz1990 » Mon Mar 05, 2018 12:38 pm

Hi people. It’s my first time posting on this site however I have found this site very helpful for advice etc.
My husband applied for ILR after 2x3 years discretionary leave.
We sent off the application on the 9th Feb 2018 and on the 15th Feb 2018 he received a letter from Police Scotland asking him to declare the driver for a vehicle which went through a red light on the 30th January 2018.
He is a bus driver he claims it’s a large vehicle so he mustve took longer to go through the corner so the camera must’ve flashed. He obviously will make sure it doesn’t happen again.
My question is will he be in trouble from HO. He didn’t know about the offence at time of application as we got the letter after the application was sent. The date on the letter is 13th Feb 2018 and we received iron the 15th Feb 2018.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)
