UK tourist visa for Indian wife from USA

Hello all,
Thank you reading my question.
I am an American citizen who married an Indian citizen in India.
We are planning to travel to UK as tourists for about 10 days.
My wife who is still an Indian citizen and in the process of applying for her US spouse visa.
My question is, can I sponsor her for the UK visitor visa.
What kind of information will they require from me a US citizen but married to a Indian citizen?
