Specified Date & Continuous Residency Period

Post by moongesture » Mon Mar 05, 2018 10:00 pm

Can I please request to get an advice on following scenario,

In case of an absence in excess of 180 days after first entry in the UK on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa, will the specified date (since when the residency period should be calculated) change for re-entering date?

Example Below

Initial Entry Date: 3/1/2013
Exit: 6/3/2013

Re-entry 11/11/2013

Now in above scenario will the specified date be considered as 11/11/2013 and residency period calculation starts from this date or applicant can still take the advantage of going back till July/June to take advantage of allowable absence if he/she never left the UK after above date.
