In need of help please

Morning all,

Ok so me and my wife flew into Dublin from USA in January 9th to start the Surinder S route, this hasn’t panned out well with no jobs responses etc

Since then I found out I can have a Irish passport (Irish mother) so I have applied for passport and I’ll renounce my British citizenship when it arrives in 3 weeks.

We want to extend our stay in Northern Ireland with family while I wait to process my renouncing so we are wondering if we took a weekend trip to Paris and flew back to Belfast (UK) would my wife get a 6 month stamp entering UK ?? As it’s the first time entering UK this year.

I just don’t want to uproot my family again and go back to US with nothing there.
