Hi all,
I'll be really grateful if someone can clarify this for me. I've searched the forum and everywhere else, however I was unable to find an answer.
I'll be applying for a tier 2 general visa, and my question is regarding English language.
Since, my IELTS UKVI expired before I could apply for my visa, I got a UK NARIC certificate instead(Visa and nationality services-Red route)
From what I've been seeing, everyone get a C1 level for English on their UKNARIC certificate, however, I only got a B1.
My degree is also comparable/equivalent to a UK Bachelor's(hons) Degree.
Since, the gov.uk only gives CEFR level for SELT that is B1. Can someone please throw some light on what level of CEFR is required for UK NARIC to be acceptable. Is it the same B1 or it needs to be C1.
Anyone with similar experience? I've read through the Tier 2 immigration guidlines pdf. It only says, degree taught in English and assessed by UKNARIC.
Thanks
PS: I've a valid simple IELTS Academic, with band 8.5(CEFR C2)
