Change of Adress After Receiving Confirmation Letter

Hi ,
I have received a confirmation letter from homeoffice regarding to my residence card application. It mentions that they will send my biometric residence card in 10 working days from the date of the letter which was 27 th of February. Till now i have not received anything and unfortunately we have to move out the flat today due to some problems that we are having with landlord. Apparently home office using DX courier service and if they deliver tomorrow I wont be there to pick it up? Do you think would it be possible to call the courier service and ask them to deliver to a different address even though i wont have a tracking letter or should i write to home office and inform them that we have changed the address? Thank you
