Visa application bogota

Hello I am curious to see if anyone here has applied for a spouse visa via Bogota Columbia.

My wife will travel there to attend an appointment to hand in her application.

What is un clear and very hard to find information on, is the process to return the passport to them.

She will of course have to return to Costa Rica while the process takes place. Passport will be needed to return home

If anyone has any details or can point me in the right direction for more details then please share.
