ILR from ancestry

Post by Gerry1234 » Sun Mar 11, 2018 9:10 pm

Hi all,

I am applying for ILR from ancestry previously been on youth mobility for 2 years. During 2 year visa I was subject to traffic offence as I was unaware of the 12 month rule with driving and was charged in April 2013 for driving without insurance and valid licence. Do you feel it would be advisable to have a solicitor support my application?

I also have a few queries about the Set 0 application.

1. Question 5.6 through to section 6 about the financial circumstances and income, I read it as if that does not apply to those applying from ancestry visa. IS this correct?

2. Question 7.6 I attended court for the traffic offence to plead my case with a solicitor, do I need to include this in this question?

3. As I read it, my understanding is I do not need to complete any of the questions in section 9 as they do not apply to ancestry visa holders? Is this correct?

4. 2 months ago my fiancé fell pregnant. She is a British citizen who was born here. Does this need to be noted or included in my application. And if so how/where do I do that.

Thank you in advance!
