Do I need to certify copy of photo id to request immigration history?

Post by siddharthpandey » Mon Mar 12, 2018 12:58 pm

Hello,

I'm preparing to apply for ILR visa and I've gone through the steps on UK Visas & Immigration website to request my immigration history. This is to ensure that I enter correct details in the ILR SET(O) application form.

After completing this online application to ask my immigration history, I've got the form downloaded on my system. Plus, there is a checklist - copy of photo id and 2 confirmations. Reference: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... mmigration

Do I need to get this copy of photo identification certified by one listed officials even when I'm making the request by myself? Or is this only required if I was using a advisor or solicitor to request details?

I thought it is only required to be certified when someone else is request the details on my behalf.
Can someone please help me to answer this?

Regards
Sid
