Tier 2 General Visa - How to update UKVI regarding New passport

Hi all,
Good Afternoon, I would like inform you that currently I am on tier 2 general visa which is valid until 20/1/2020.. I have applied for Indian passport renewal on 3/1/2018 and have received my new passport on 8/3/2018. I have updated my HR with my new passport details, she took a scan copy of my passport.
Now I would like to know that How do I inform/update UKVI regarding my new passport , so could please advise on this query..

There is no need to inform UKVI if its's just change of passport (everything else remains the same). You just need to ensure that you carry both old and new passport whenever you travel.

Hi Moonloght55,
Thanks a lot for your information,I would like to inform you that my new Indian passport number is S582XXXX Where as my old passport number is G749XXXX..My passport number has changed and I have included my wife's name in my new passport as a spouse..
Apart from that everything is same as my old passport..could you please suggest me that do I have to inform UKVI as per these 2 changes?? Please clarify on this..

Not required. As I said, you just need to ensure that you carry both old and new passport whenever you travel.

Also, make sure that your employer has a copy of the new passport to update your record.
