Tier - 1 Queries Agains HSMP

Dear Members,

This is regarding the General Understanding on Tier-1 Process for People applying from India.

I have understood the Tier-1 Rules as follows, Please feel free to correct me in case I am wrong.

1. Tier-1 Application requires the Applicant to Send their Passport in Initial Application Process. Hence, Visa (EC) will be issued in Single Step
( Unlike HSMP, where Approval and EC are in 2 separate process) .

2. Visa or Entry Clearance (EC) will be Valid for 3 Years with no Restriction on date of Entry to UK.

3. Salary Calculation for Indians is as Follows:
Gross Salary for 12 Months = 560000
Exchange Rate Assumed = 80 INR for 1 Pound Sterling
Hence, UK Equivalent = 7000 Pounds
Uplift Rate = 5.3 ==> 7000 * 5.3 = 37100 Pounds
Hence, Points Under Past Earnings = 40.
